New Lino Print Exhibition Opens in N22
My new exhibition of recent linocut prints was hung this morning and is ready to go, showing a selection of prints produced over the last year or so. These are mostly made by conventionally cutting sheets of lino, but the latest prints also incorporate layers which have been etched with caustic soda, which gives a looser and more textured feel to the final print. Do come along this evening for a look and drink, or any time until 14 April. The exhibition is on at The Step in Myddleton Road N22, only a short walk from Bounds Green tube and an even shorter stroll from Bowes Park Station. All work is for sale.

I’m really looking forward to my third appearance at the Bayfield Farmer’s Market in Glandford NR25 7JP tomorrow Saturday 15 December.

I’ll be selling greetings cards, linocut and screen prints.

If you are around please drop by to say hello

I had a great time yesterday at the Myddleton Road Winter Festival just round the corner from me. Lots of people dropped by the stall and bought cards and prints. The linocut prints of Bowes Park were probably the favourite pictures closely followed by North Norfolk landscapes

Everything is also available here on the individual Artwork pages

I’m really looking forward to the Myddleton Road Winter Festival tomorrow. I’ll be there with a stall selling  lino cut and screen prints and greetings cards. Perfect for Christmas cards and pressies.

Come along and say hello.

There is a lot going on, including, and I quote ‘ Market stalls, fun fair rides, bars, live music, kids crafting. Trees for sale. Free Santa’s Grotto. Lantern Parade lead by actor Neil Morrissey at 4pm. Lights-on celebration.

Myddleton Road Market collaborates with We Love Myddleton Road to stage a huge winter festival encompassing a Christmas market, live music, a lantern parade and activities for children and families. There will be over 50 unique stallholders lining the street selling a range of products from cards and gifts, textiles and vintage plus a wide range of delicious international street food.

This is me at a Farmer’s Market in North Norfolk. Expect more of the same, but better.
